When your baby starts solid foods

Experts think that starting at around 6 months, solid foods should be introduced into a baby’s diet.

Transitioning your baby to solid foods can be frustrating but the process can encourage healthy habits that maintain themselves for life.

Most children should start with only a few tablespoons of each type of food as they begin to explore. They may have to try a new food 10 to 15 times over a few months before they like it.
