Sometimes, our babies can't finish a full serving of purees and we end up safely keeping them "to use later." We wanted to provide a few suggestions for parents looking for another way to use some extra baby food.
Remember to always refrigerate foods for only a few days and only up to 3 months in the freezer.
Most flavors can be unfrozen and used to:
- enrich smoothies
- have a healthy spread on bread or crackers
- make pancakes
- sweeten up yogurt or cereal
- be added to pasta sauces or soups
- accompany deserts like cake or ice cream
